About me
My story
education and profession
After a gap year after school, I started studying psychology at the University of Zurich in 2004 and graduated in 2010. After that I devoted some time to other interests and also worked part-time as a teacher at various levels. In 2013 I found my way back to therapy and worked as a therapist in the Soteria Bern, a small specialist clinic for psychosis.
In 2014 I began my further training at the IKP Zurich as a body-centered psychotherapist, which I successfully completed in 2020. In 2018 I started working as a psychotherapist in the beautiful practice "Psychiater Luzern" right next to Lake Lucerne.
Personally
I grew up as the oldest of 4 children in Bremgarten in Aargau (Switzerland). Sports, music, travel and people have always been my major interests, all of which are still very important topics in my life today.
Personally, my story made me open and interested in (psycho)therapy and personal development of all kinds early on. Despite a beautiful home, my own issues, challenges and, at times, real turbulence sent me on a detailed and longer journey with my issues at a young age. I felt a deep desire and urgent need to find ways and means of making real, profound and lasting change possible.
In retrospect, I consider a lot of it to be a great benefit, both for me and for my work as a therapist, even if there were major challenges at times. So I appreciate my professional background, but I probably consider the personal and my personal experience even more important, because in my opinion only this enables real and real understanding. I am also absolutely convinced that you can only accompany other people in their process as deeply as you have gone yourself.
Apart from my own therapies, I have also dealt with a wide variety of other therapeutic procedures and methods such as breath work, group processes, music, family constellations, biohacking, consciousness engineering and many others. A direction that was very formative for me was the examination of shamanism and medicinal plants, especially Ayhuasca.
Today I am happy to be able to access a rich and varied wealth of experience, which helps me to have valuable and profitable contact with very different people, which makes my work versatile and adaptable.
